Vol. 6 No. 1 (2025): Mission from the Margins: Reaching the Unreached People Groups in Africa

This issue of PJTM emerges from the inaugural International Conference on “Mission from the Margins: Reaching the Unreached People Groups in Africa,” convened by the Pentecost Centre for the Study of Unreached People Groups (PCUPG) in collaboration with Pentecost University and the Home and Urban Missions of the Church of Pentecost, held at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Ghana, 25–27 June 2024. The conference affirmed mission as a Spirit-led, multidirectional endeavour rooted in local agency and global partnership. Contributions in this issue reflect four sub-themes: foundations of unreached people groups in Africa, mission models and approaches, discipleship and pastoral care, and socio-cultural transformation and community development. Collectively, these papers represent a strategic mobilisation of African Pentecostal theological thought, missiological practice, and interdisciplinary insights to bridge the gap between the Church’s mission and its implementation.
